About Eagle Extensions
Eagle Extensions is an enrichment program for Big Walnut students. Clubs will be filled on a first come, first serve basis. Clubs with less than 15 registered students will be cancelled. Hometown ticketing will be used for all signups and payment will be taken at the time of sign-up.
Activities are as follows:
Normal classroom behavior is expected. Eagle Extensions are intended to be a fun learning experience. The instructor will write up disruptive behavior and the student will be verbally warned. Continuous disruptive behavior will result in permanent dismissal from the class. Parents will be notified by the Eagle Extension Coordinator of their child's dismissal.

Who? Any boy interested in the game of basketball who is entering grades 3-6 & 7-9 for fall of 2025
What? A 3-day instructional skills camp
Grades 3-6 will consist of drills, skills evaluations, games and competition.
Grades 7-9 will consist of skills, competition and implementing programs terminology, offensive and defensive systems.
Where? New Big Walnut High School MAIN Gym
When? 9:00 - 11:15 AM (grades 3-6) & 12:00 to 2:15 PM (grades 7-9)
Cost? $85 per camper

We will teach basic skills and fundamentals along with advanced skills for those ready. Also, rules and guidelines will be covered with those going into 7th and 8th grade to help those athletes feel more prepared for upcoming seasons.

Learn fundamentals, play games, and have fun!
All skill levels welcome! Campers will learn the fundamentals from current HS players and coaches. Campers will play tennis games, learn the rules and have fun!! All campers will receive a t-shirt for attending. Rain dates are June 5, 6 and 7th. This camp serves as a fundraiser for the BWHS tennis programs. Don "Red" Edwards was a valuable member of our Sunbury Community. His contribution to our Big Walnut Track and Field program, as well as our Cross Country program is unmatched. We want to continue to honor his memory with our second annual Red Run. This year the run will take place at Big Walnut High School. All proceeds go to a Big Walnut Education Scholarship in Red's name. Please join us on April 11, 2025 the evening before the Red Edward's Golden Eagle Relays to celebrate his life.

The entry fee covers your t'shirt and limited edition wrist band. We will have Youth Medium to Adult 3XL--first come first served. Get there early so your size is still available.
All runs start on the high school track.
Youth 400 meter run at 6pm.
Adult 400 meter "Fun" Run or Walk immediately following youth run.
2 mile Red Run begins immediately following the fun run.
