2024 BWMS Grade 8 Ohio Trips

During the week of May 20-May 23, eighth graders at school will be involved in a variety of activities, all of which include trips outside the school building.

The activities for the week will be as follows:

Monday, May 20 - Mansfield Reformatory Tour

Tuesday, May 21 - Top Golf

Wednesday, May 22 - Columbus Bowling Palace

Thursday, May 23 - The Columbus Zoo

Eighth graders at school will be involved in a variety of activities, all of which include trips outside the school building. Activities will be supervised by teachers. Please be advised that all school rules apply during field trips. Appropriate school dress is expected; please consider the weather and the scheduled activity for the day.

**A pre-planned absence form is required and due to be turned in to Mrs. Hayhurst no later than Friday March 15 in order to attend.**

This tour will involve a lot of stair climbing. You need to be sure to wear appropriate shoes. The reformatory has served as both a prison and set for several movies and music videos. Cost is $8.00. Students should bring a sack lunch including a drink.

The cost for this trip is $11.00. This includes 2 hours of golf. You may choose to purchase your lunch at the venue. They may have a limited menu. They do NOT allow any outside food or drink. However, if you pack your lunch, you need to either eat it before we leave the school or after we get back in the afternoon.

Columbus Bowling Palace - Wednesday, May 23

The cost of this trip is $11.00. It will include 2 hours of bowling and shoes. You may choose to purchase your lunch at the venue. They do NOT allow any outside food or drink. However, if you pack your lunch, you need to either eat it before we leave the school or after we get back in the afternoon. They have a small game room. You may bring some money to play games if you choose.
